We went in for the first time today, and could not be more impressed. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly!! We asked for their suggestions, and tried them. The kolaches and donuts were fresh and tasted great! We tried the sausage, cheese, egg & jalapeño kolache (my favorite), a chocolate glazed cake donut, strawberry filled donut, and glazed donuts.

This is my second time at the 34th location. The first time my donuts and kolaches were cold. The first visit was a little more understandable as it was late in the afternoon. This morning on a second visit my donuts were cold. Cold donuts at 8:30 am makes no sense. I asked for rowdy ranch and mustard at both visits and recieved nothing the first time. I was lucky enough to get just mustard the second time. This morning I had to repeat myself at the speaker multiple times to the point I was practically yelling so the order taker could hear me, which still didn't work because my order was still incorrect and I received 4 out of 6 donuts that were wrong. I tried to use the website to order ahead and avoid all of the mess but the website won't allow me to place an order even though I've tried on multiple different devices. I want to like the Shipley brand and products but I would much rather spend my money at a competitor like donut stop and receive better food and service. I also didn't see a full list of available donuts on the menu, which is odd considering donuts is in the name of the business.

I got 2 donuts (cherry 🍒 and strawberry 🍓). These donuts are so good. I like how they fried the donuts. The pink frosting is the strawberry flavor and the red frosting is cherry.

Very friendly staff. Helpful and knowledgeable. The yeasty donuts are good but after having a sugar and a Boston cream they just tasted good. No crunchy crust. No light flavor. Their cake donuts on the other hand 10/10. Some of the best. Good crunch and soft fluffy interior. Photo or cross section of cake versus yeasty.

I fought the crowd and tried this place out today. I had to repeat everything I asked for at least three times. The donuts were nice and warm. Unfortunately, the cherry glaze melted as a result. The Apple Fritters were probably the best in Amarillo, with actual apple bites, the cinnamon roll was average, tasted like the philbury doughboy kind from the take home and cook in your oven type. And the Red cherry glazed and sprinkled donut was a complete disaster in appearance but also tasted average. The coffee tasted and smelled like old cigarette smoke. Overall, it was a bit overpriced and not worth the wait time.
